JULY 6: The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport undertaking has warned male passengers not to occupy seats reserved for women and handicapped passengers.
In a press release, BEST stated that persons occupying these seats can be asked to vacate them and if they refuse to vacate, legal action, under Rule No 102 of the Maharashtra Motor Act, 1989, can be initiated against them.
