BEL declares 25 per cent dividend

BANGALORE, JUNE 27: The public sector Bharat Electronics Limited BEL declared a dividend of 25 per cent for the year 1999-2000, at the board meeting here.

The board also considered the accounts for 1999-2000, during which net profit went up to Rs 107.93 crore compared to Rs 53.63 crore in the previous fiscal, the statement said.

BEL had registered net sales/income from operations of Rs 1494.15 crore during 1999-2000, compared to Rs 1198.87 crore in 1998-1999, it stated.
