BCCI satisfied by security arrangements

The BCCI has spoken to the Home Ministry on the issue of security to the Indian and Pakistani cricket teams now playing in New Delhi.

The BCCI has spoken to the Home Ministry on the issue of security to the Indian and Pakistani cricket teams now playing in New Delhi and is satisfied with the arrangements.

8220;So far, I think adequate security arrangements have been made and proper cover has been provided to the players as well as the spectators,8221; BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla said.

He said that before every match, BCCI spoke to the Home Ministry and whenever any security arrangements were required, 8216;it definitely lets them know8217;.

Close on the heels of Friday8217;s blasts in Uttar Pradesh, another email threatening a series of explosions, including an attack on the visiting Pakistani cricket team, is doing the rounds on Saturday.
