The Reserve Bank of India has prohibited yet another non-banking finance company Worldlink Finance Limited from accepting deposits with effect from June 23.
It has also directed the company not to sell, transfer, create, charge or mortgage or deal in any manner with its property and assets without the prior written permission of the bank, except for repayment of deposits for a period of six months from june 23, an RBI statement said today.
The central bank had banned Global Finance Corporation from accepting deposits two weeks ago.
