PUNE, June 4: Bishop Valerian D8217;Souza has been selected as recipient of Rev. Narayan Waman Tilak Award8217; this year.

The award, instituted by Maharashtra State Christian Association, comprises of a memento and is given away every year to a person contributing to social as well as literary field.The award will be presented on June 15 by Bhai Vaidya, at YMCA. Bishop D8217;Souza was ordained as Bishop of Pune in 1977 and is chairman of Poona Diocesan Board of Education.
