With the presence of the former Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee during the concluding day of fortnight long dharna here to press for a CBI probe into killing of party legislator, Krishnanand Rai ,the state BJP.

For the first time, it has launched a “decisive battle” against the Mulayam government,this time to end the “misrule like Bihar”. UP is facing a barrage of murders. It’s enough. This cannot be tolerated anymore,” said Vajpayee on Wednesday.

Vajpayee has flagged off a “Nyay rath” which will be passing through almost all towns of UP, but in the first phase in a majority of total 32 towns of eastern UP. State BJP leaders including former CM Rajnath Singh will be on the Nyay rath and hold public meetings.

“Bihar ke baad UP ka number hai. Jaise 15 saal ka kushashan wahan khatam huan waise UP mein hoga (After Bihar ,its turn of the UP. (I am of the firm view that like Bihar where the 15 year misrule has ended, same will happen in Uttar Pradesh),” said Vajpayee, adding, “Mr Rajnath, you take the lead and we will follow you”.
