
MUMBAI, JULY 1: A group of 30 swimmers, 16 boys and 14 girls, will represent Maharashtra in the 16th Sub-junior National Aquatic Championships at New Delhi from July 2 to 4.
SWIMMING
Boys Group III 11 amp; 12 yrs: Parikshit Shetty, Saurabh Mundra, Min Kwang Shu, Karan Nagpal all four of Mumbai, Rohit Barve and Arjun Muralidharan both of Pune.
Girls Group III 11 amp; 12 yrs: Shruti Reddy, Anshuka Parwani, Sapna Desai, Mugdha Patre, Alefiyah Bharmal, Minita Shah all six of Mumbai, Manasi Shelke Kolhapur and Pooja Ghorpade Pune.
DIVING
Boys Group I 16 to 18 yrs: Prithviraj Munde, Pandurang Patvi both of Pune and Balu Dhakame.
Girls Group I 16 to 18 yrs: Yashaswini Narayan Petkar and Smita Gullapalli both of Solapur.
Boys Group II 14 amp; 15 yrs: Madan Jawalekar Pune, Pravin Sandhan, Rahul Keshwani both of Nashik and Arjun Kawle Mumbai.
Girls Group II 14 amp; 15 yrs: Vidita Powle Mumbai.
Boys Group III 12 amp; 13 yrs: SaurabhPatil Nashik, Romil Savla Mumbai and Shreyas Satekar Nashik.
Girls Group III 12 amp; 13 yrs: Pooja Gosavi Nashik, Purva Walavalkar Solapur and Avai Shah Mumbai.
Central Bank draw NSC
Central Bank and Nobody8217;s Sports Club settled for 3-3 draw in the Bombay Hockey Association senior Division hockey match at the Mahindras Stadium today. Vivek D8217;Souza put Central Bank ahead in the fourth minute when his shot deflected off a defender stick into the goal. Eight minutes later, Central Bank increased the lead when Jude D8217;Souza netted.
Nobody pulled one back through Sunil D8217;Sa and later stunned their fancied opponents when Sunil D8217;Sa equalised in the 29th minute to be locked 2-all at half-time.
After the change of ends, Nobody8217;s took control of the game with striker Girish Pimple putting them ahead in the 37th minute. When it looked that Nobody have won the match, Central Bank striker Ashley Peidade broke through the Nobody8217;s defence and drew parity for Bankmen.
