Is a one-day, a Test, or a one-day Test? That8217;s the joke doing the rounds among those who have purchased tickets for the fifth one-day international at the Nehru Stadium here tomorrow. For, the tickets say: 8216;India versus England Test match on April 98217;.

Leaving the Assam Cricket Association ACA red-faced, the 8216;8216;printing mistake8217;8217; figures on most of the 17,800 tickets that have been sold.

Not surprisingly, association officials shied away from comment till one of them, on condition of anonymity, came up with this explanation: 8216;8216;It8217;s a big mistake, but it8217;s not completely our fault. The BCCI sent us the ticket format on March 13 with the mistake. We didn8217;t notice it, and went ahead with the printing.8217;8217;

There was another convenient excuse, too. 8216;8216;With the second phase of the Assembly elections scheduled for April 10, everything had to be done in a hurry. That8217;s why this happened,8217;8217; the official added.
