Anand-Leko settle for draw

MUMBAI, JULY 14: Viswanathan Anand settled for a 29-move draw in the fourth round of the 27th Dortmund Grandmasters Championship today, according to information reaching here. Playing white, the World No 2 failed to breach opponent Peter Leko8217;s defence and agreed to a draw offered by the Hungarian inside two hours.

Leko retained the lead, with three points, in this seven-round tournament. Anand, World No 3 Vladimir Kramnik and Anatoly Karpov are joint second with two-and-a-half points.
