MUMBAI, APRIL 18: Eight years old Amarilo, the evergreen contender in Western India and who had a distinction of defeating Indictment, the multi-Classic winner and stablemate, reminded of his rare galloping qualities while smartly beating the youngsters in The Byculla Club Trophy, 2800 metres, the main event of the 49th day of Mumbai meeting conducted on Sunday at Mahalakshmi.

Favourite Jonty Rhodes headed the field for most of the journey but disappointed at the home stretch. On the other hand Inflammable and Executive Decision performed extremely well. Glowing Honour returned home lame.
