
A brilliant all-round display by Harvinder Saran was instrumental in Amrut Education8217;s 85-run victory over Gokalibai in the second-round of the MSSA-Colgate Inter-School Giles Shield cricket touurnament at the Azad maidan, today.
Saran, batting at No. 3, contributed a well-struck 82 with the help of 13 fours in his side8217;s total of 185. He then turned his arm over to capture seven Gokalibai wickets for 25 runs. Gokalibai were bowled out for 101.
Rahul Bajaj8217;s 3-19 and 55 runs was in vain as his team, Sacred Heart, lost to Hindi Vidya Bhavan by 23 runs at Azad maidan.

Goalless draw
Best and Central Railway Workshop, Matunga, were concerned in a goalless draw in Pool A of the BHA-conducted Third Division hockey league, sponsored by Punjab National Bank, at the Naigaum Police ground, today
Both the teams played positive hockey but both failed to score easy chances. BEST dominated in the first-half, while the Matunga team were seen in better light in the second session.
