Advani condemns US double standards

Deputy PM L.K. Advani on Monday attacked the US for its 8216;double standards8217; in prodding other countries to open their markets to its goods and services on the one hand and protecting its own markets and jobs on the other.

8216;8216;On one hand, US talks of globalisation while on the other it was proposing a ban on outsourcing jobs to India, saying it is taking away jobs there,8217;8217; Advani said while visiting Gandhinagar constituency.

He said MNCs were not 8216;obliging8217; India by operating here; they were doing business because India gave them a skilled workforce and good returns on investments.
