Adrian-Shoail showdown doubtful

The Maratha Warrior suffered a serious setback when their star goalkeeper Adrian D8217;Souza has been ruled out for the next match after suffering an injury during Chennai Veerans yesterday.

The national goalkeeper was hit by a Sandeep Singh shot that hit him below the chest guard. Adrian was taken to Apollo Hospital after the match and has been kept under observation. Warriors8217; skipper Viren Rasquinha said today that Adrian was 8216;8216;in pretty bad shape and will be definitely be in bed for the next few days.8217;8217;

This also means that the much-anticipated showdown against Pakistan8217;s Sohail Abbas too remains doubtful. The ace drag-flicker, who is to play for Hyderabad Sultans, will be finally making his appearance in PHL next week in the game against Warriors on Thursday.
