Actor Radhika expelled from ADMK

The famous Chithi aunty of the small screen, actress Radhika, was expelled today from the primary membership of the AIADMK 8220;for acting against the interests of the party8221;.

Radhika had quit the DMK along with her actor husband, Sarat Kumar, just before the May Assembly elections, to team up with AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa. Jayalalithaa announced her decision to expel the actress through a press release. She also directed her partymen not to have any truck with her.

After quitting films, Radhika made it big on television with her Radaan Productions, a serial production company. Soon after she joined the AIADMK, there was speculation that she would be forced to snap her business ties with Sun TV, owned by family members of Union Minister Dayandhi Maran. Radhika is the daughter of late M R Radha, the 8216;villain8217; of yesteryears films.
