
NEW DELHI, December 4: Present and former presidents of the Delhi University Students8217; Union DUSU slugged it out in the open, literally, yesterday. The stall of a well-known scooter company was the bone of contention between the two members of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad ABVP. Former president Anil Jha and man-in-command of DUSU at present Jaiveer Rana came to blows over whether the stall should be there or not.
According to sources, a scooter stall was set up outside the post-graduate Gwyer Hall hostel, North Campus. The stall was apparently put up by Anil Jha, who is doing a spot of marketing for the company after his term as DUSU president ended. According to Jaiveer Rana, there was loud music playing from the stall. When he told Jha to switch off the music and move the stall. An altercation followed in which both student leaders were injured.
