A fine display

The Sadhu Vaswani Mission8217;s Shanti Vidya Mandir and St Mira8217;s English Medium Primary School held their Annual Sports Meet 1998-1999 on Thursday, December 17 at the school grounds.

The programme commenced at 9.00 am with the guard of honour, followed by the traditional lighting of lamp Ganesh Vandana and the school song. The sports meet was then declared open with the lighting of the torch. After the march past, Pooja Tyagi gave the welcome speech and greetings were given by R A Vaswani, chairperson, Sadhu Vaswani Mission. Colourful and well-synchronised P T displays and track events by students from Jr KG to std IV stole the show. A fine yoga demonstration was also put up. The programme ended with a speech by the chief guest, prize distribution and vote of thanks.
