5 injured in bomb blasts

Five persons were injured, some seriously, when two bombs hidden in bicycles by the ULFA exploded at Satgaon area here on Monday, police said. A bomb concealed in a bicycle near the army cantonment exploded at 6.45 pm, injuring five people, said city Additional Superintendent of Police Rajen Singh. Another bomb, also hidden in a bicycle, exploded 200 meters away but there was no casualty in the second blast, police said.
