That’s the value (in rupees) of the Ambani family’s stake in listed companies of the Rs 99,000-cr Reliance group founded by Dhirubhai Ambani. The Ambanis hold 46-51 per cent stake in five listed group companies. This figure excludes unlisted companies like Reliance Infocomm, mutual fund and insurance companies of the group.

WHAT’S AT STAKE?

Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani has admitted that there are ‘‘ownership issues’’ with brother Anil Ambani. PTI reported on Saturday evening that the Ambani brothers — and their mother Kokilaben — are likely to meet in Mumbai on November 23 to try and resolve these issues.
