
NEW DELHI, May 29: Continuing the reign of fire and destruction this summer, over 200 slums caught fire tonight near Samaipur Badli in Outer Delhi.
According to officials of the Delhi Fire Service, the slums at Shadpur depot had caught fire around 8 p.m. Nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot which brought the fire under control only by 10.30 p.m.. There were no reports of casualties.
