Tiprasas will remain divided till they are poor: Tipra Motha founder Pradyot Kishore

Speaking at the session, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, founder of Tipra Motha, the ruling party in TTAADC, said, “It is very important for our people to get jobs. You all know that we are fighting for Kokborok… we are fighting for the Roman script. It is very important for us to learn more languages as well. If we learn the Japanese language… if you get placement in homecare and nursing in Japan you can earn almost Rs 2 lakh every month or maybe a bit more. You can even send a good amount of money to your family in India.”

The candidates are required to have either a diploma in Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery, and General Nursing and Midwifery, or a BSc nursing degree besides having the requisite language skills to get healthcare jobs in Japan, he added.

“I want my people to progress in life. I want them to do better. Till we are poor, people will play with us and divide us. You don’t see Marwaris fighting within their community, or a Gujarati fighting within their community… Why? Because they are rich. See our tiprasa (tribal) people. Our tiprasas get divided due to money in politics, in the name of religion, community. It is easy to divide the poor. Until we remain poor, we will be divided,” Pradyot Kishore, who is also the chairman of the Administrative Reforms Committee of TTAADC, said at the counselling seminar held in the presence of NAVIS-HR CEO Takako Oshibuchi.

“The candidates are not required to pay anything for the training for now. The TTAADC would sponsor Rs 60,000 for each aspirant. The whole fee is Rs 3,50,000. You need not give it now. After you get a job, the amount will be deducted from your salary every month,” said Pradyot Kishore.

The Tipra Motha founder also spoke about driving jobs in Japan that pay Rs 1.5 lakh every month in contrast to Rs 8,000-10,000 in Tripura.

Besides Tripura, other northeastern states like Assam, and Meghalaya have also signed an MoU with NAVIS-HR.
