Bomb recovered in J-K

A tragedy was averted today when a rocket projectile (RP) bomb was detected and defused in agricultural fields near the Indo-Pak border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

One Jugal Kishore,while ploughing the fields,found the RP bomb and BSF troops were informed immediately in S M Pura area of Ramgarh border belt,Sub-Divisional Police Officer,Vijaypur,Master Popsy told PTI.

The BSF troops later defused the bomb,he said,adding that a major tragedy was averted.
