Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepali counterpart Sushila Karki will have a telephonic conversation, which was scheduled for Tuesday, on Thursday.
According to official sources, the new date was fixed after India’s Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, paid a courtesy visit to Karki on Tuesday. Modi has pledged all support for Nepal’s peace, progress and prosperity.
Sources said Srivastava conveyed to the Nepal PM India’s willingness to support in the reconstruction of public properties destroyed in the recent violent Gen Z protests that toppled the K P Sharma Oli government.
