Missing PDP worker found dead

An opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worker,missing for the last two days,was today found dead in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district,officials said.

Abdul Rashid Dar,a goldsmith by profession and a resident of Badipora in Chadoora area,was missing since Saturday night,the officials said.

Dar’s body was found under a culvert at Nagam,less than two kilometers from his residence,this morning,they said,adding preliminary investigations have revealed that the victim had died due to a blow to his head.

Police has registered a case and started investigations into the alleged murder,the officials said.
