Using the rail budget introducing two trains connecting Maharashtra with Bihar and Uttar Pradesh,Maharashtra Navnirman Sena on Saturday attacked Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav accusing him of miusing his portfolio to facilitate entry of North Indians in the state.
Yadav, who presented the interim rail budget on Friday, announced new services–Patna-Pune and Gorakhapur-Mumbai–without demand from any sector,MNS chief Raj Thackeray said.
This is only to facilitate the entry of the North Indians into Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra,he alleged.
There is a demand to start various trains but instead Lalu chose to start these two trains without demand from any part of the state even when there are 17 trains already running between Bihar and Mumbai, the MNS chief said.
Taking a dig at Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar,he said the Nationalist Congress Party Chief will go to inaugurate the trains but will never question the entry of North Indians in the state, especially in Mumbai.
Urging Maharashtra leaders to oppose the move of the Railway Minister,Raj said if he were to oppose the move it would surely be sidelined.
Raj ruled out the possibility of the 26/11 terror attacks on Mumbai being carried out without the support of locals.
Without the involvement of locals, such an attack is impossible as terrorists cannot posses detailed information regarding the Taj Hotel and other places that were targeted, the MNS chief said.
Raj refused to comment on the controversy over Valentine’s Day celebration.
