In the House, hard at work

Parliament’s Monsoon Session, which began on July 18, ended on Friday. 14 legislative Bills were introduced, and one was withdrawn. 14 legislative Bills were passed by both Houses; four by only one House. Lok Sabha worked for 101% of its scheduled hours, and Rajya Sabha for 96%

It was productive…
Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha functioned at near 100% productivity, signalling an improvement in the government-opposition working relationship

…And it delivered
Planned legislative business was actually bettered by the performance Parliament achieved during the Monsoon Session
