Popular YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav is also a devout. The 28-year-old celebrity recently visited an ailing Premanand Ji Maharaj's ashram in Vrindavan. In a video that's gone viral on social media, Elvish is seen visiting the saint and offering him fruits. The saint's associate tells him that Elvish is visiting to pray for Premanand ji Maharaj's good health. The saint then asks Elvish if he does any "naam jaap" or chanting. When Elvish confesses he doesn't, Premanand ji Maharaj says, "You should do it, even a little. You’re successful today because of your past good deeds. But what about today? Chant God’s name, what will you lose? Wear a counter ring and chant 10,000 times daily. Will you do it?" Elvish then agrees and promises to chant "Radha" 10,000 times a day. Last year, Elvish was nabbed by the Noida police in connection with their probe into suspected use of snake venoms as recreational drugs in parties. While Yadav refuted the charges of involvement in the case, BJP leader Maneka Gandhi had earlier accused him of involvement in illegally selling snake venom and sought his arrest. Earlier this year, Elvish was summoned by the National Commission for Women over alleged racist remarks against actor Chum Darang. The NCW took cognizance after Elvish, in a podcast with Big Boss 18 contestant Rajat Dalal, allegedly made racist comments against Darang and made fun of her. He later apologized to Darang. In his purported comments on the podcast, he mocked her name and ethnicity, for which he received massive backlash. He also mocked her association with the film Gangubai Kathiawadi and her role in the film. His comments, which quickly went viral on social media, suggested that Chum was unattractive and mocked her name.
