When David Warner turned into Pushpa’s Allu Arjun at Robinhood event. Watch

Now, despite not being in the IPL, Warner managed to hog headlines in a day when SRH scored a mammoth win over Rajasthan Royals. He is set to make his acting debut in the Telugu film, Robinhood. Starring Nithin and Sreeleela in the lead roles, Robinhood is directed by Venky Kudumula, and backed by Mythri Movie Makers.

Warner was the highlight of the pre-release event, which featured the cast and crew of the film. Warner, who came dancing into the venue, didn’t let anything stop his vibe as he regaled the audience with his recreation of Allu Arjun’s iconic steps from the Srivalli number from Pushpa:The Rise. In addition, he also danced alongside his Robinhood co-stars Nithiin, Sreeleela and KetIka Sharma for the viral Adhi Dha Surprisu number.

With his unabashed performance in the pre-release event, there were more people who joined the legion of fans for his histrionics. One of the notable such member of this fandom is Allu Arjun, who shared his love for Warner and his family’s recreation of his famous Butta Bomma number from Ala Vaikunthapurramulo.

Nevertheless, Warner’s presence has added a lot of hype to Robinhood, which is set to release on March 28. This is Venky’s third straight collaboration with Nithiin after Chalo and Bheeshma. Robinhood will be clashing at the South box-office with films like Vikram’s Veera Dheera Sooran and Mohanlal-Prithviraj Sukumaran’s L2: Empuraan, which will hit the screens a day earlier on March 28.
