Pushpa 2 song Kissik: With less than a fortnight remaining until the worldwide release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, the makers of the big-budget action drama are leaving no stone unturned to keep the excitement at a fever pitch. Now, days after releasing its official trailer, offering glimpses of the movie’s world, the Pushpa 2 team has unveiled a new track titled “Kissik,” featuring “Icon Star” Allu Arjun and “Dancing Queen” Sreeleela, which is sure to set the screens on fire.

The lyrical video of the song was launched at a special event titled Pushpa Wildfire held at the Leo Muthu Indoor Stadium in Tamil Nadu on Sunday. The song’s audio and visuals have been crafted in such a way that it evokes the same electrifying energy as the iconic item number “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava,” featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, from Pushpa: The Rise (2021). Composed by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) and sung by Sublahshini, “Kissik” showcases both Arjun and Sreeleela — whose role is confined to this song — pulling out their A-game and igniting the dance floor as background artistes add to the spectacle. With its pulsating beats and lyrics penned by Chandrabose, the makers are confident that the track will become a global sensation.

The lyrical video not only includes glimpses of the song sequence but also offers behind-the-scenes moments from its filming. In the video, Arjun and Sreeleela can be seen sharing some adorable moments, with each other and with the film’s crew. The song has been choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.

Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj in key roles, Pushpa 2: The Rule is helmed by Sukumar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings.

Pushpa 2’s cinematography is handled by Miresłow Kuba Brożek, with S Ramakrishna and Monica Nigotre serving as production designers and Navin Nooli editing the film. A direct sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, which earned Arjun his first National Film Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, Pushpa 2: The Rule will hit the screens on December 5.
