Out of breath Pawan Kalyan seen struggling as he visits Tirupati, signs declaration form for non-Hindus with daughter Polena. Watch

Pawan Kalyan ended his 11-day purification ritual at the temple as he asked for forgiveness for alleged adulteration with animal fat in Tirupati laddu.

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, who took part in a 11-day Prayaschit Deeksha (purification ritual) amid the controversy over alleged adulteration with animal fat in Tirupati laddu, ended it today at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. He visited the temple with daughters Polena Anjani Konidela and Aadya.

The actor-politician was seen struggling as he climbed the steps to the temple. He was seen out of breath and covered with sweat and had to take a break to rest. His fans shared concerns about his health upon watching the videos. Pawan Kalyan suffers from  asthma and backache. In the videos, his team members were seen fanning and helping him.

 

 

Before visiting the temple, Polena, who is the actor’s daughter from his third marriage to Anna Lazhneva, signed the declaration forms given by the temple board officials for non-Hindus, expressing her faith and reverence for Lord Venkateswara. Meanwhile, Aadya is the actor’s daughter from his second marriage to Renu Desai.

Pawan Kalyan too signed the paper as his daughter is a minor. The actor was also accompanied by Alavaikunthapurramuloo filmmaker Trivikram and art director Anand Sai. Photos and videos of the same were shared by the official X handle of the Jana Sena Party.

Eleven days ago, after the revelation of the presence of animal fat in Tirpuati laddu, the actor regretted not being aware of the issue and started his purification ritual at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam in Vijaywada.

Sharing a post on X, the actor expressed his disappointment and claimed a sense of betrayal. He wrote, “I am deeply hurt on a personal level by the malicious attempts made to infuse impurity in the prasad of Sri Tirupati Balaji Dham, the center of our culture, faith, belief and devotion, and to tell you the truth, I feel cheated from within. I pray to Lord Venkateswara to give us and all Sanatanis strength in this moment of grief with his causeless grace.”

He added, “Right now, I am taking a vow to seek forgiveness from the Lord and am taking a vow to fast for eleven days. In the latter part of the eleven-day Atonement Initiation, on October 1 and 2, I will go to Tirupati and have a personal darshan of the Lord and beg for forgiveness and then my Atonement Initiation will be completed in front of the Lord.”
