Eagle teaser: Ravi Teja is the man, myth and massacre in this high-octane actioner
Eagle teaser: The promo video provides glimpses of the eagle's identity, or rather, the characteristics attributed to the eagle, as people still don't know if he is real or just a myth.

The Makar Sankranti season of 2024 is set to witness an intense showdown in the Telugu states, as several high-stakes projects are ready to hit the screens. From Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Venkatesh Daggubati’s Saindhav to Nagarjuna Akkineni’s Naa Saami Ranga and Ravi Teja’s Eagle, several films are eyeing a January release, taking full advantage of the auspicious season.
Meanwhile, the makers of Eagle unveiled its official teaser on Monday, setting the stage for the movie’s grand release on January 13, 2024. The short and sharp 94-second promo video begins with a shot of multiple bodies lying on the ground, accompanied by Ravi Teja’s voiceover cautioning, “Do not ask for the lava from the volcano to descend, it will wipe out not only this village… but also your existence,” highlighting his formidable presence.
The promo video also provides glimpses of the eagle’s identity, or rather, the characteristics attributed to the eagle, as people still don’t know if he is real or just a myth. “He lives in the forest. He moves like a shadow… visible to none… yet he pervades every place,” one of the characters says.
It’s only in the final moments of the teaser that we are presented with a complete view of Teja, dressed in an ash lungi and a green kurta, wielding machine guns in both hands. “Bon Voyage,” he says before taking aim at his rivals.

Helmed by cinematographer-turned-director Karthik Gattamneni, Eagle also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep, Srinivas Avasarala, Madhoo and Kavya Thapar in key roles. While Eagle has been penned by Gattamneni along with Manibabu Karanam, the director has also taken on the roles of cinematographer and editor. Bankrolled by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla under the People Media Factory banner, the film’s music is composed by Davzand.
Ravi Teja was last seen in Vamsee’s Tiger Nageswara Rao. Despite being a mammoth project made with a budget of Rs 50 crore, the film bombed at the box office, still struggling to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark even after 18 days since its release.
