Baahubali The Epic box office collection Day 2: Baahubali: The Epic, the re-edited and remastered single-cut version of S.S. Rajamouli’s iconic two-part saga, Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, has drawn massive crowds both in India and overseas. The Rajamouli-directed epic, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, and Nassar in pivotal roles, opened to a phenomenal response at the box office on Day 1, earning Rs 9.25 crore (net) in India and Rs 14 crore worldwide. However, the film witnessed a noticeable drop in collections on Day 2.

According to estimates shared by industry tracker Sacnilk, Baahubali: The Epic witnessed a 26.42% drop on its first Saturday, earning Rs 7.1 crore in India. The film collected Rs 4.75 crore in Telugu, Rs 1.65 crore in Hindi, Rs 0.5 crore in Tamil, Rs 0.17 crore in Malayalam, and Rs 0.03 crore in Kannada. The total domestic collection of the Prabhas-starrer now stands at Rs 17.9 crore. Worldwide, the movie has earned Rs 27.85 crore so far.

On Saturday, Baahubali: The Epic recorded its highest occupancy among Telugu audiences at 53.04%. The Tamil version saw about 40.43% occupancy, while the Hindi version registered the lowest at 14.90%.

Fans have been flocking to theatres to relive the visual spectacle on the big screen, reaffirming that the Baahubali legacy continues to reign supreme in Indian cinema.

Talking about Baahubali: The Epic, producer Shobu Yarlagadda told PTI, “Audiences will experience Baahubali like never before. The goal is to deliver a cinematic spectacle for a new generation of viewers while rekindling nostalgia for the original fans. The remastered edition features advanced technologies such as Dolby Atmos sound, IMAX upscaling, and a freshly re-edited presentation, supervised by Rajamouli.”
