Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives leaving Netflix US

Netflix has announced six more television shows that will be leaving the service next year.

Netflix has announced six more television shows that will be leaving the service next year. ‘Brothers & Sisters’, ‘Desperate Housewives’ and ‘Ugly Betty’ will all expire on January 4, 2015. ‘Greek’, ‘Hannah
Montana’ and ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ will also leave the service, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Both ‘Greek’ and ‘Ugly Betty’ are currently available to watch on Netflix UK, but it is unknown whether they will remain on the streaming website. Television shows joining Netflix US in January 2015 include season three of ‘Dallas’, the entire series of ‘Friends’, season five of ‘White Collar’ and series two of ‘The Fall’.

Netflix recently confirmed that it has no plans to allow downloadable content for offline viewing. Director of corporate communications and technology Cliff Edwards said, “It’s never going to happen.”
