Tejasswi Prakash opens up about wedding plans with Karan Kundrra in 2026, says he wanted to get married in 2022: ‘My mom asked to wait 1 year’

Tejasswi Prakash recalled that soon after that Karan Kundrra confessed that he was serious about his feelings for her, and she also started noticing his actions, which suggested the same. “I liked that he was very clear in his head that he likes me and he said it without even knowing how I feel about him. That’s a huge risk, when you don’t know how the other person is going to respond. When you say I like you but don’t know if the other person feels the same,” she said and added, “I liked that he showed courage and expressed himself, and he was making it exclusive.”

Tejasswi’s mother also approved of Karan, which was quite “surprising” for the actor. And as soon as they got out of Bigg Boss 15, Karan was keen to get married but Tejasswi’s mother asked them to take some time to think about it. “Karan was like, ‘Let’s get married,’ but my mother said, ‘You guys just got out of Bigg Boss. Maybe you should spend one year with each other in the real world because it’s not like I doubt you (Karan) but I don’t even know my daughter because I feel both of you need some time’,” she recalled. Tejasswi described herself as ‘chanchal’ and said, “Like if I fall in love, then I am like, ‘This is the one.’ So my mother said, ‘Take your time.’”

When Bharti Singh asked if they were planning to get married in 2026, Tejasswi Prakash said, “Aise bol toh rahe hain (That’s what is being said).” She added, “Matlab aisi baatein toh hum kar rahe hain par let’s see. (We are talking about it but let’s see.)” The rumours about Tejasswi and Karan’s wedding have been floating for years now but the couple is yet to make a definitive statement on the same.
