Karan Patel set to return to Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

However, now that he is back, Karan Patel shared that he never intended to move out of the show. In a statement, he said, “I don’t know why people speculated that I quit the show. I was just away from it for a while because I was busy with something else. This show will always be an integral part of my career and life.”

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein launched in 2013 with Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi in the lead roles of Raman and Ishita, respectively. The series projected a mature love story between a divorcee and childless woman, and how they find solace in each other. Child actor Ruhanika Dhawan played Ruhi, Raman’s daughter, who became the cupid between them.

After a successful six-year run, and many generation leaps, the show is said to be going off-air by end of this year. Meanwhile, Chaitanya Chaudhary stepped into the shoes of Karan Patel in his absence. And now with his return, the makers will show him as another character who took the garb of Raman.

Coming to Karan Patel’s participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, well, as expected he excelled in most of the tasks. The actor along with Karishma Tanna and Balraj Sanyal ended in the top three. While all of them have already performed the final task, the result of the same will only be announced next year, when the show goes on air.
