Bigg Boss 19 trailer: Salman Khan promises new season is going to be ‘demo-crazy’: ‘Iss baar gharwalon ki sarkar’

Big Boss 19 trailer: Television sets across the country have found their bread and butter for the next five months, as actor Salman Khan has just released the new trailer for Bigg Boss 19. The beloved reality TV show will be returning for its 19th season, and it looks like Salman is ready to take a break from calling all the shots of the game. The host revealed that the format of the show is going to be changed, and the contestants are going to have more agency than ever in this new structure.

In the trailer, Salman is seen getting out of a car, dressed like a politician, and he has an entourage with him. He walks into a hall that looks like an assembly room out of the parliament, with many extras sitting in front of desks with mics, also dressed like politicians. He announced, “Aisa pehli baar hua hai, 18-19 saalon mai. Iss baar Bigg Boss ke ghar me drama crazy nahi, demo-crazy hone wala hai (This is something that is happening for the first time in 18 to 19 years. This time around, the Bigg Boss house won’t have crazy drama, but demo-crazy).”

It’s clear that the contestants of Bigg Boss 19 will have more autonomy than their predecessors, but they will have to answer to the public and the consequences of their actions. As hinted by the trailer, and Salman Khan’s comment: Iss baar gharwalon ki sarkar (The members of the house will rule this time), it seems that the new season will try to mimic the structure of a country, and the contestants will work like a government, who can do anything they want, as long as they are ready to deal with the fallout.

Bigg Boss 19 will premiere on August 24 and will be available on JioHotstar at 9 pm and Colors at 10:30 pm.
