Actor Vishal is going through a rough patch with his films receiving lukewarm responses from the audience. He pinned much hope on Laththi, but even that movie failed to meet the expectations. However, Vishal seems pretty confident about Mark Antony, directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara fame. The teaser of the film is set to be released today, and Vishal met Vijay ahead of the event and played the teaser for the Tamil star.

Pictures from the meeting of the two Tamil actors were released online. Vishal is seen sporting a clean-shaven look in the photos, while Vijay is still maintaining the salt-and-pepper beard of his character from Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo. The film’s crew, along with Adhik, were also in attendance at the meet.

Mark Antony looks like a quirky film, which is typical of Adhik Ravichandran. The characters in the movie are seen sporting a retro look, and so far, the genre and other details of the film have been kept under wraps. Other than Vishal, the movie also stars SJ Suryah, Sunil, Ritu Varma, and Abhinaya. GV Prakash has composed the music for the film.

Mark Antony was in the news when Vishal met with an accident on the sets after a truck failed to stop at the expected point and rammed into a wall. Vishal was just a few feet away from the speeding truck. The makers are yet to announce the release date of the film.

Meanwhile, Vijay is currently shooting for Leo with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Only a few weeks ago, he wrapped up a long schedule in Kashmir. Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, and Mansoor Ali Khan are part of the upcoming film.
