The internet is pop culture’s playground where trends are born, and memes erupt overnight. Currently, nothing has social media buzzing more than Akshaye Khanna’s swag-filled stint in Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar. The internet reintroduced him to a new generation, with his entry as Rehman Dakait set to the Bahraini rap track FA9LA by Gulf hip-hop artist Flipperachi.
Hoping on to the trend, the Delhi Police on Wednesday shared two clips from Dhurandhar on X, using them to raise awareness on drug addiction. One of the clips featured the trending sequence starring Khanna. The actor can be seen stepping out of his car with swag and breaks into an impromptu dance to the Arabic rap song.
“What you think you look like when high,” the Delhi Police added a text overlay to the clip.
Another clip shows Khanna on his knees, writhing on the floor, and sweating. “But here’s where you actually end up,” the Delhi Police wrote.
The video ends with a message that reads, “Do not lose control of your life as drugs only offer an illusion.” The caption states, “Drug’s high might feel real, but it’s an illusion. Do not trade your truth for a moment’s delusion.”

The video quickly gained traction, drawing a wave of reactions hailing the Delhi Police’s cheeky response to the trend. “I like to get high on music. Never done drugs in life. And proud of it. And Absolutely hate those who dope,” a user wrote. “Whoever created this video deserves a raise. The way you connect the dots is amazing,” another user commented.
“Nice job Delhi Police. Police are doing their best in every means to create awareness. Admin of the page well done,” a third user reacted.
