Shivarajkumar became a sensation across the country after his extended cameo in Jailer. The actor played a gangster named Narasimha in the film, who is a friend of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian (Rajinikanth). The protagonist seeks help from Narasimha, a former convict, who provides the necessary backup that becomes crucial for the hero's mission. On top of that, Narasimha also made an appearance towards the end of the movie for a 'theatre moment'. Ever since the release of the film, fans of Shivanna have been asking if he would feature in a spin-off with the character. Now, the Kannada superstar has opened up about the possibility. In an interview with India Today, the actor was asked if he would be ready for such a spin-off. Shivarajkumar said that he would be game if the film had a convincing script. "I don't mind. I really don't know how it works. Nelson Dilipkumar should create and have that idea, because, after the success of Jailer, he has got more responsibility for his next film. But, there was one sequence, which was supposed to be shot in the prison, but then later he said, 'Not necessary sir'. So, I don't know what will happen about that. If it is on the same line, then I don't mind at all. Having said that, Nelson is very good at portraying such grey characters." Shivarajkumar said that he doesn't know why his character in Jailer worked well with the audience. Even his wife asked him about the unusal response. "Sometimes, we don't know what people/audiences like," he said. Shivarajkumar's Ghost is currently running in theatres. He will next be seen in Dhanush's Captain Miller. Karataka Damanaka and Bhairathi Ranagal are the other projects in his kitty.
