Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 168 titled Viyugam?

According to sources, V is Siva’s favourite alphabet, and it has worked in his favour. Now, we need to wait and watch if Siva does the same for this Rajinikanth film.

Touted to be a rural-based commercial entertainer, Thalaivar 168 will go on floors after the release of Darbar. The AR Murugadoss directorial is expected to be a 2020 Pongal release.

Thalaivar 168 marks the third association of Rajinikanth with Sun Pictures after Enthiran and Petta. Though the makers are finalising the cast and crew, a little birdie tells us that Jyotika and Keerthy Suresh have been roped in to play the female leads. Further, reports suggest that Soori has been signed on to play the lead comedian. If this turns out to be true, Thalaivar 168 is Soori’s first film with Rajinikanth.

Thalaivar 168, planned for next year’s Deepavali, has music by D Imman.
