Leo trailer: Lokesh Kanagaraj presents Vijay in all his glory as he single-handedly fights a truckload of villains
Leo trailer: The trailer of Vijay's Leo is here, and it lives up to the expectations of fans. The film will hit theatres on October 19.

Leo trailer is finally here! A lot hangs on this trailer for Vijay and his fans. It is now a matter of pride for them ever since the audio launch was cancelled ‘not due to political reasons’. Though the makers have claimed that the reason behind the cancellation was the huge demand for tickets, many on X (formerly Twitter) are not willing to buy it. As one of the biggest marketing tools for Vijay came to naught, the only next hope for the film’s promotion team is the trailer. So, the anticipation for this trailer has been sky high.
The trailer, which begins with a magnificient visual of the Kashmir Valley, lives up to the expectations of Vijay fans who have been waiting to watch him in all his glory on the silver screen.
The trailer suggests that Leo has no connection to Lokesh Kanagaraj’s cinematic universe. Ever since Leo was announced, there have many fan theories about whether Leo Das will cross paths with Vikram or Kaithi Dilli.
Going by the trailer, Leo looks like a mass actioner where Vijay plays a police inspector and is a one-man army. He is pitted against a dreaded serial killer, who kills relentlessly on the streets. Arjun and Sanjay Dutt are the other antagonists in the film who are after Leo Das’ life.
The trailer also doesn’t have answers to the speculations about whether or not the film is based on David Cronenberg’s A History of Violence (2005).
Leo, which marks the second collaboration of Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay, has a huge star cast that also includes , Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Trisha, Priya Anand, and Mansoor Ali Khan. Anirudh Ravichander, who has worked with Vijay and Lokesh in Master, is composing for the film.
Leo will be released across the world on October 19.
