Ajith Kumar fans have been injected with a new sense of vigour and revelry courtesy the various updates coming their way from team Good Bad Ugly. Having faced a lot of issues over the lack of updates about his films, they are jubilant over Mythri Movie Makers’ approach to film promotions. The Pushpa makers are making their Tamil debut with Good Bad Ugly, helmed by Adhik Ravichandran, and the teaser of the film was released to much anticipation.
Right from the first look poster, it was clear that the film was bringing out the unabashedly fun side of Ajith, which was missing from his recent crop of films. With the three words in the title, and with reports of Ajith having three different shades to his characterisation, the excitement was at an all-time high, and the teaser delivered on the promise of Good Badu Ugly being one fun ride.

In the teaser, we see a gangster in prison, forced to come out of it to face his past catching up to him, and unleashing the evil side that was kept dormant for some reason. It is an Ajith Kumar showreel through and through, giving a proper throwback to his evil days where caution was thrown to the winds, and he played characters that challenged the perception of good, bad, and of course… ugly.
Here’s the teaser:
While Good Bad Ugly marks the first collaboration between Ajith and Adhik Ravichandran as actor and director, they have previously acted together in the film, Nerkonda Paarvai. The movie is releasing close on the heels of Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaamuyarchi, which hit the screens on February 6. Just like Vidaamuyarchi, Good Bad Ugly also stars Trisha in the lead role alongside Ajith. Apart from the duo, who have also worked in films like Kireedam, Ji, Mankatha, and Yennai Arinthaal, the movie also stars Prabhu, Arjun Das, Prasanna, Yogi Babu, and Sunil.
The feud between Mythri Movie Makers and composer Devi Sri Prasad, which reached its spillover point during Pushpa 2, continues with Good Bad Ugly too. While Devi Sri Prasad was initially announced as the composer of the film, marking his first movie with Ajith since Veeram, he has since been replaced by GV Prakash Kumar, who is collaborating with Ajith for the first time since Kireedam (2007).
