Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has cited “political environment” as the reason for his decision to postpone the film on Sarabjit Singh, who had spent 22 years
in a Pakistan jail on espionage charges.
Almost two years back, Ghai had announced the film on the Indian prisoner who had died following a brutal assault by his jail mates in Pakistan.
Not wanting to delve more on the subject right now, the filmmaker may take up the project at a later date.
