Sasural Simar Ka takes a leap, introduces new characters

Having captivated viewers for over three years, one of the most popular shows on Colors is all set for a small leap of two years. The much-loved sisters – Roli-Simar (Avika Gor – Dipika Samson), who by now have become household names, will be separated in with this new development.
The track of the show will change with a shocking turn of events as the family learns of the tragic accident of Simar. However, after the leap, Simar is happily settled in a new family with a doting husband and an adorable three-year old daughter in Ahmedabad.
Aadesh Chaudhary is playing the character of Vikrant Mehta, a criminal lawyer by profession and Simar’s husband. “It is always a challenge to be part of a show that has been well received and has been popular among viewers. I grabbed this opportunity with open hands when it came my way. I have taken up this role up as a challenge and I hope to pave my way into the hearts of the viewers,” he remarks.
Interestingly, with the leap, there’s a new set erected for the shooting of the sequence featuring Simar.
