Although it is a known fact that Shahid Kapoor was a popular instructor at Shiamak Davar’s institute, very few people know that the latter had actually thrown a chair at the actor during a rehearsal. “He claims it was a plastic chair, but it was actually a steel chair. I used to mess around a lot, making fun, pulling people’s leg and all this, while he was busy teaching all of us. One day, he got so frustrated, that he picked up a steel chair and threw it at me. I was lucky, but it ended up hitting his favourite dancer, Shiraz’s ankle. Even today, she shows me that mark and says, ‘this is all because of you’,” stated Kapoor.
