Sonu Kakkar

It was quite a busy week for music composers and singers last week, as they performed and attended various events across the city. Singer Sonu Kakkar took centre stage and entertained the audience with her performance at the Freedom Lavasa 2014 music and dance festival, which was held during the Independence Day weekend. On the other side, composer – singer Lesle Lewis put up an energetic act at the IIMUN event in Mumbai, where he also performed the title track of the recently-released Marathi film Poshter Boyz, which is composed by him. He was also joined by his daughter, Divya Lewis, who performed along with her father and left the audience mesmerised. Elsewhere, the music launch of the upcoming film, Identity Card was also held in the city, where singer Shibani Kashyap was the chief guest.
