Superstar Rajinikant has reportedly filed a case against the makers of the film Main Hoon Rajinikanth for not soliciting his permission for the same. The film supposedly pays a tribute to the versatile actor. The veteran actor has alleged that while he was not even consulted or narrated the story line, his name has been misused by the makers of the film. The Madras High Court had granted the injunction till September 25.

 

Felicitation galore

Rani Mukerji was recently felicitated by Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The actress was honoured for her performance in Mardaani, which dealt with sex-trafficking. Many IAS officers and bureaucrats were also present at the event. It was chief minister Chouhan who had declared the film tax-free in MP. The film, that released on August 22, had Rani playing a crime branch official on the trail of sex-trafficking mafia.
