Amidst a number of tentative names springing up for an all-new season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season, Karan Tacker is one of the contestants finalised for the show. The show that brings together celebrities from all walks of life, with a choreographer as partner, is in its seventh season, and in all probability, will yet again have Madhuri Dixit Nene, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza as judges. A source confirms, “Karan Tacker is one of the contestants finalised for the show. He’s not a very good dancer, and watches Jhalak… as a platform to learn dancing, so he grabbed the opportunity. The actor, though, is very nervous at the thought of being judged.”
Apparently, the contestants have just started rehearsing for the show. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7 can be expected to go on air in June. Tacker was unavailable for comment as he was out of the country. The source confirmed that the actor will begin rehearsing for the show once he is back, on May 6 or 7.

Other tentative contestants

A few other names, which may be a part of the show, but are yet to sign on the dotted line, according to a source are Mouni Roy, Andy, Purab Kohli, Kiku Sharda, Shikha Singh among others. While Mouni Roy is known for playing Sati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Andy had recently hosted India’s Got Talent, after his Bigg Boss stint. As far as Kiku Sharda is concerned, he’s best known for his ‘Palak’ act in Comedy Nights With Kapil, entertaining the viewers with his comic timing and signature dance moves. Actress Evelyn Sharma and VJ-turn ed-actress Sophie Choudhary are the other names that are supposed to be in the reckoning.
