Music director: Sachin – Jigar
Lyrics: Mayur Puri, Priya Panchal and Ashish Pandit
Johnny johnny is a quirky take on the popular nursery rhyme that all of us have repeated a hundred times in school, but here, Johnny is heard talking about alcohol instead of sugar. Sung by Jigar Saraiya, Priya Panchal and Madhavi Krishna, the female vocals have been tweaked in an interesting way, since it has been picturised on Akshay Kumar. The use of electronic and techno beats is funky and sounds straight out of a Yo Yo Honey Singh number. Teri mahima aprampaar is a funked up desi number sung by Anushka Manchanda and Udit Narayan, where a few verses from another nursery rhyme, Twinkle twinkle little star, have been mixed. It’s a track filled with confusing tunes and inane lyrics, so we suggest you skip this one. Aslam’s melodious voice makes a comeback with Nahin woh saamne, a short reprise version of Tera naam doon. The singer, who nails it perfectly whenever he is given a soft number to croon, does perfect justice to the one minute plus piece. Overall, Sachin-Jigar’s compositions in the album are a mixed bag.
