Alia Bhatt to star in The Fault In Our Stars adaptation?

Producer Karan Johar has bought the rights to adapt John Green’s popular 2012 novel, The Fault In Our Stars.

According to reports, producer Karan Johar has bought the rights to adapt  John Green’s popular 2012 novel, The Fault In Our Stars.

The love story of two young cancer patients seems to have caught Johar’s attention and that he is keen on adapting it for a young Bollywood love story with Alia Bhatt in the female lead.

He  seems to be in a mood to pick up the best of Hollywood films for it is heard that the producer-director has also bought the rights of the hit Hollywood comedy 21 Jump Street (the 2012 version)! Reportedly he plans to sign his Student Of The Year actors Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.

When contacted, Johar remained unavailable for comment.
