Actor Amit Sadh was held up for six hours at the Los Angeles Airport recently. Of the gift items that he was carrying for family and friends living abroad, was a kirpan (knife) for a childhood friend that he had bought some time back when he had visited Amritsar and the knife was blessed at the revered Golden Temple. During the baggage check, the kirpan was found and he was asked to wait till his documents were processed.

Criticised about dancing with a lady constable in Kolkata, Shah Rukh Khan said some people were creating unnecessary hue and cry over the matter since a lady police personnel in uniform danced with him. The actor, who was present at the event, had lifted a lady constable wearing the Kolkata Police uniform during a dance performance at a function of the force in the presence of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
